Shady Camp is located on the mighty Mary River and is home to the famous Shady Camp Barrage.

Whilst keeping an eye on some of the biggest Crocodiles in the world, you'll be quickly distracted when you hook onto to some of the largest Barra the Territory has to offer. Like the Daly River in the run-off season, there are plenty of Barra congregating in the river, gorging on tadpoles and small fish. Double or triple hook ups of these amazing fighters is definitely a thrill for all. Other species to target in the area include Saratoga, Tarpon, Black Jewfish and Mud Crabs.

Your accommodation at the Point Stuart Wilderness Lodge is located in the heart of the Mary River wetlands and offers comfortable air-con cabins with private ensuites, Saloon bar and Bistro. After an action packed day on the Mary River you can relax with a cold beer by the pool and regain your energy for tomorrow's adventure!
