The Alaska Sportsman’s Lodge is a remote sports fishing and fly fishing lodge located in the Bristol Bay area of Western Alaska. This area is the pinnacle of Alaska fishing for five species of salmon (Chinook, Sockeye, Chum, Coho, and Pink) and Alaska’s largest Rainbow Trout. This is the designated Trophy Rainbow Trout area of Alaska.

The lodge is located on the Kvichak River four miles downstream from Lake Iliamna which has one of the largest runs of big Rainbow Trout in the World (up to 15 pounds and averaging 7) and is accessed by air only.

Fly fishing opportunities are endless all through the Bristol Bay area and with two Beaver Float planes moored outside the lodge, guests have the advantage of quick, comfortable access to a dozen different fisheries.

The Alaska Sportsman’s Lodge also offers excellent caribou and upland bird hunting trips. With only 16 guests staying per week the lodge has all the comforts of home, yet still maintains the great Alaska flavour of being in the wilderness.
