Baia Sports Fishing Lodge, located in Open Bay of West New Britain Island, has teamed with Fish About Tours to provide access to some of the most stunning aspects of Papua New Guinea.

Experience untouched fishing on the rivers and reef systems of the northern coast of New Britain Island. Our lodge is situated in the remote province of Baia and is nestled in a pristine natural harbour, surrounded by a local fishing village, dense jungle and the shadow of a volcano.

The waters surrounding the Lodge are as untouched and wild as the land, with some of the best uncharted Spot-tail and Black Bass to be found anywhere in the world - with fish regularly caught over 40lb’s!!!

The fish targeted take mainly surface poppers from lure, soft plastic and fly patterns ensuring exciting, heart pounding action in the untouched waters of PNG.

The Lodge offers comfort and style with a mix of traditional Papuan food and culture. Local owner and head guide Riccard is one of the best Fisherman in PNG and along with his experienced guides, bring essential local knowledge to help stalk the fabled Bass.

Other species of fish include: Mackerel, Marlin (blue and black), Maui Maui, Trevally (Giant, Blue Fin), Threadfin Salmon, Mangrove Jack, Barracuda, Wahoo and Sailfish.

Friday	Flights from Sydney to PNG, night in Liamo Resort.
Saturday	Early morning 4 hour blue water boat ride to Baia lodge. Light lunch at Baia and half days afternoon fishing.
Sunday	Full day fishing.

Thrusday	Half day morning fishing followed by boat ride back to Liamo.
